Internship Opportunity in South Korea!

On-the-job training with a competitive salary, in a foreign country!

This is Maple Education Consulting Firm in South Korea. We are a professional recruiting company for English Instructors from abroad. We wish to introduce your school to our Internship Program which recently started here in Korea.

In the past, a Bachelor degree was required to be an English teacher in South Korea. The Department of Education in Chungnam Province has since relaxed this requirement, for the Internship Program.

The two requirements are:

1. Completion of sophomore year in university.

Any student who has finished their sophomore year can apply for an internship teaching position at public elementary schools in Korea.

2. Citizenship from USA, Canada, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa.

In order for us to place a student for an internship program, we need his/her:

1. Letter of certification to prove that he/she is attending at the school and finished sophomore year with Apostille

2. 2 copies of sealed transcript

3. Copy of passport (information page)

4. Criminal record check with Apostille

5. 4 Passport photos

6. Self medical checklist

7. Resume

-Job Details-

Location: Chungnam area (around one-and-a-half hours from Seoul).

Salary: 2.1 million Korean Won per month (Around USD1,740 per month)

Overtime pay: 20,000 Korean Won per hour

Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri (7 hours of actual teaching a day)

Student level: Elementary school

Start Date: Mid-January, 2010

Other:6 month contract (7days of vacation)

Round-trip airfare provided (up to 1 million reimbursed),

Accommodation provided

Relocation fee (300,000 KOR Won)

The Department of Education can also give credits for this internship/on-the-job training.
