Hours Of Work: Day/Night (7.75 hour shifts; 19 shifts/4 weeks; 0730 to 1545 hours/2330 to 0745 hours)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To provide safe patient care by assesssing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care on the Nursing Unit.
* Float pool staff will be required to float to a minimum of two program areas which include Critical Care, Emergency, Women and Child Heath, Medicine, Surgery and Psychiatry.
* To work primarily within the Women and Child Health areas which include: Labour & Delivery, Post-Partum, Intermediate Care Nursery and Pediatrics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current registration from the College and Association of Registered Nurses (C.A.R.N.A.)
* Current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C-Health Care Provider
* Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in one of the above mentioned areas is preferred.
* Additional related courses such as post graduate obstetrical course is preferred.
