Senior Manager - Global Energy Solutions Full Time OpportunityLocation: Downtown TorontoPurposeTAG Global Energy Solutions has staff located in Toronto, New York and Houston. Currently, the group is delivering three major system initiatives:- Energy Trading and Risk Management- Enterprise Market Risk monitoring and reporting- Enterprise Credit Risk monitoring and reportingThis role is mainly related to the Enterprise Credit Risk and monitoring project. We are looking for a strong BA/Project Manager to manage the delivery as well as ensuring that the technical solutions developed meet the business needs.Reporting RelationshipsReports to Director, Head of Business Analysis, TAG Global Energy SolutionsSupervises: One or more BA's and potentially QA resources.Complexity of PositionThe successful applicant will have:- A minimum of 6 years Project Management experience delivering financial/risk related solutions.- Prior BA experience including gap analysis and use case documentation- Knowledge and experience with Algorithmics or other enterprise credit risk systems.- Strong working knowledge of Credit risk across different asset classes.- Experience of vendor management and vendor system implementation Additionally, the following would be preferable:- Experience with running projects using the Agile methodologyA degree in finance, mathematics, engineering or a similar technical degree is required.Direction ReceivedThe incumbent is guided by Bank policy and receives broad direction from TAG GES management. The incumbent is expected to function independently to ensure that the department's objectives are met.Dimensions/Success CriteriaThe successful applicant's responsibilities will include Project Management, Vendor management, gap analysis and testing the Credit risk product.In addition, second line support duties may be required on an as needed basis.Working ConditionsThe position requires concentrated use of sight and touch at a computer terminal on average 5-6 hrs/day. The incumbent must work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities and changing project requirements. The incumbent must be able to react quickly to resolve functional and technical problems and work overtime as required to meet deadlines and to implement systems with minimal impact to the end users. Potential for travel to New York officeKey Accountabilities1. Manage the rollout of the credit risk product across the different business lines including status reporting, vendor management and planning.2. Work with business users to define, document and develop use cases as well as prioritizing with vendor and internal development groups.3. Work with other IT groups within the bank to define integration requirements with internal bank systems.4. Provide guidance to QA staff on functional testing requirements.5.
