Project Concern International (PCI), a leading global development organization working to create durable solutions to poverty and food security, seeks a Project Manager for its Aquaculture Value Chain Program (C-FISH) for a one-year program, pending donor approval. The Project Manager will provide overall Project Management
, guidance to technical staff, and support for PCI's economic Development Programming
in Malawi. The Project Manager will be accountable for both the quality of C-FISH and for the effective financial and Operational Management
thereof. The incumbent will assist with strategic execution of the project, as well as related programming, networking, Operational Planning
, staff and beneficiary development, and documentation and monitoring and evaluation.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Abilities:
3-5 years (5+ years preferred) of progressively Advanced Project
management experience in field based operations. Knowledge and experience working in Malawi. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to both lead and be a member of a multi-disciplinary international team. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders and partners from for-profit businesses highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple, diverse partners, donors and other stakeholders. Creative problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a resource constrained environment. Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Willingness and ability to live in isolated community with minimal services. Willingness and ability to travel, both domestically and internationally. Sense of humor and ability to deal with ambiguity essential.Apply To Job
